DESIGN CONCEPTS
TROPICAL RESORT
I n s p i r a t i o n
Inspiring the lounge on a tropical beach, sunlight, and the soothing sound of waves. It’s real essence of a tropical influenced-lounge, an interior style which encapsulates the feeling of light and nature.
F l o o r s & W a l l s
On the floor, organic materials are chosen. Hues are neutral and earth-toned, and finishes are matte and glossy. Light wooden parquet floors, with it's natural glow and soothing touch underfoot, is an suitable choice for tropical resort concept. Ceramic on the kitchen wall in a soft colors; light yellow with pattern are a low-maintenance and match with timber. Long glazing on the kitchen area designed to continue the view to the sky. Natural stones with woven rug style be used as an accent in the entrance to the living/ tv room area, to create texture and to enhance the elegancy looking. It makes a wonderfully authentic feature wall. The entrance with huge door frame jutting from tempered glass is wrapped with candi stone. The candi stone finished by transparant coating show authentic it self. Walls are plain and light gray-painted, to reflect the sunlight and make the area seem bigger and brighter.
F u r n i t u r e
Settees, coffee table, and mini table bar on the front yard, emphasizing comfort and closeness to the earth. At Front yard have wooden screen with flat lines for a more modern appearance. And the teakwood chosen To intricate textures for a more ethnic look for wooden screen at front yard. Furniture at front yard carved from tropical dark teakwood emphasizes the natural, ethnic theme and makes a wonderfully authentic sense of tropical resort. On the livingroom area have sofa made of plush, luxurious material in deep hues to imbue a sense of coziness. Sofa topped with black colors and stainless frame for a contracity of color scheme.
W a t e r
Bring the nature element into interior (water). A u shape reflecting pool with the ripple creating the freshness of the nature and functionally help to reduce the sunlight radiation coming from front yard.
And finally, leafy green plants are a fitting on the planter box, inexpensive and natural way to bring tropical style into the front yard.
